People think I'm weird

Posted 09-03-2007 at 02:28:14 PM by niftyneon99

I am trying to sell my baby trend sit n stand stroller and buy a regular double stroller or a umbrella type side by side. Dh doesn't want me to sell the sit n stand, but seriously, both older kids want to sit on the bench, and that is just too much weight for me to push around. What I am not sure about though is the width of the side by side strollers. I want to be able to get through regular doorways, kwim? I don't want to have to carry the boys from the parking lot to the inside of the mall and then put them in the stroller. I put it out there on Cheapcycle, and if I don't get any bites from that I am going to put it in the paper.

I also contacted a lady who is looking for a weight bench. I am trying to sell my weight machine (that I wanted so badly ) I would love to sell it, but I don't want to take too much of a loss on it

I almost have one formula can of pop tabs to donate to the Ronald McDonald house they are building in Evansville I wonder how much they can get for them? I think it's a simple thing to do, give them something I would just normally throw away, but I wonder if I am making that much of a difference? :shrug7: I like to think I am having an imapct, but is my footprint big enough to matter?

Same thing with my donations to the animal shelter. I wish I could do so much more to help them out but I don't have the actual cash to give them, so I am trying to gather the .55/1 clorox coupons and then I purchase them during doubles week and donate. I know that every little bit helps, but am I making that much of a difference?

Here's what all I have donated so far to the animal shelter-

newspapers
bleach
vinegar (for skunked animals)
old towels

I had a bunch of free cat food that I wanted to donate, but they won't feed it to their animals. They are contracted with science diet (they get food for just the shipping amount) and only feed that. So, I gave it to my neighbor lady who has 5 cats.

I would love to foster animals, but I am no good at housebreaking a dog, and I don't have enough space to have that many indoor dogs. There is an adorable pomeranian at the shelter, but I wonder how good it is with kids.

Weighed in today at 150.2, went back up, but that's ok.

I think you probably make a huge difference to those poor little animals. Keep up the good work!
