well, I've lost my upromise card!! I can't figure out where it is. I have called ahd had it frozen, because I know as soon as I cancel it I will find it. I keep monitoring the CC's site to see if anything is going on, but nothing yet.
I also cancelled the kids' savings account. They are no longer giving $5 for each Colt's win (I think they must've broke the bank last year!) instead they are giving chances to win cheapie prizes, so I decided to take that out. I am going to stick it towards a bill right now (since I am the one who put all that money in there) and then replace it later.
We got 2 unexpected bills yesterday, a lawyer bill and a hospital bill from when Eli had Nursemaid's Elbow.
So, they'll go on the list. I can pay the hospital bill straight away, but the lawyer is going to have to take payments. I for as fast as he's working, I don't feel bad about making payments. (being very sarcastic here)
I am hoping I get a call back this week for the two applications I put in. I am wanting to get a job to help pay down the van faster -- it's not necessary, but I think then I will feel like I am contributing more, if daycare doesn't break me first! I can't believe how much people pay for daycare! This will be the first time that I will possibly have to pay for daycare in all my life. We are going to try first and see if DH is able to watch the boys so we won't need one, that'll put so much more towards the snowball.
Here's examples, and I'm just going by guess on the taxes.
$7.25/hr for 40 hrs = $290/wk X 4 wks = $1160 - 23% taxes (a guess, I don't know how much they take out) ($266.80) = $893.20 take home, now if I had to pay daycare it would be - $640 a month (ones with 4 wks) = $253.20 take home, which I don't think would be really worth it (add in extra gas money)
So, the one job is 7:30 - 4, and the other one is during school hours, but I think will start before school because it is a school nursery. It'll be hard on dh cause he works night shift. He said he would just have to cut back his overtime (he usually tries to get 1 hour before work and 2-3 after work each night)
So, pray that all goes well and I get a call!!
