thinking of Xmas, I might as well list how many gifts/people I've already got, using the after christmas sales from last year
People Bought for
MIL
dh's niece
friend's dd
my sister
my niece
SIL
dh's nephew
and I have parts of gifts for 3 more people
I am going to check out Target on Tuesday when I have to go down there and look at the toy section to see if I can find any good discounts.
The kids don't need any more toys really, so I have been cutting back gradually what I buy them ( I usually end up selling it after a few months cause they don't play with it or they won't keep it picked up). Last year we got the two oldest ones one big gift (a peg perego polaris 4 wheeler) and then just 2 or 3 smaller gifts. I think Eli got one gift (we already have tons of baby toys from the other two). Really though, they get gifts from their grandparents, uncle, aunts, and we do a gift exchange at dh's family's get together......that is plenty of toys for me to pick up
I withdrew $300 from the 5/3 account today and deposited into the Regions account to make me feel safer from overdraft fees (payday's tomorrow, but you never know what crazy things the bank will do!)
I had to end up spending the cash I had on hand for dd's kindy fees $59.25, but at least I paid for it with cash!! And I found out a bonus today.....kindy IS all day! The school we chose to put her in has had all day kindy for years!! I am ecstatic about this!! Well worth $59.25 to get 8 hours of peace a day.......
