Today I received my Cingular $50 rebate for my phone......too bad it came on a prepaid visa. I would have rather had the check so I could make a payment with it!! But I will use it for the grocery store instead.
DH got a free ticket to the Brickyard again this year with a co worker, so he will be gone this weekend......and what does he say to me?? Have you got me any spending money for this weekend?? WTH?? heck no, I told him, you have ZERO money in your checkbook, so no I do not have any money for you!
(ok, I have money, but not for frivolus stuff! He just last week went fishing for trout with a friend and had to purchase a special license for trout fishing --- then he didn't even catch any!!!! what a waste of $11!!!)
I've been selling a lot of stuff on CheapCycle today!! I sold a bunch of our ride on toys for $25, then I have a few things I sold that I am going to take down with me on friday and the lady is going to pick them up and pay me.
So, anyways, that $25 went for gas (which was a real steal at $2.69).
