OMG, I'm re-entering the workforce!

Wow, I didn't think I would see this day for another 4-5 years!!! As long as my last criminal background check comes through ok (like I have so much to hide I swear I'm damn near squeaky) I'll start soon. I was supposed to start tomorrow (and thus I cleaned like a madwoman today :mad6:) but since that didn't come back I can't "be left alone with the kids". But that's ok. I really need a few days to get used to the idea of going back to work (it's at a daycare for dh's work) wow, real grown ups......wonder if I'll be able to speak in complete sentences and not just toddlerese. :shrug7:

So, I'm trying to wrap up my pending trades and do what shopping I need to do (i.e. expiring coupons) :wink068:

I started taking the appetite suppresant/metabolism booster my dr gave me today. It made me dizzy at first (one of the side effects) but it's been working since then. I swear I cleaned the whole house and started on the garage in an hour! Plus I haven't felt all that hungry today. I did eat 3 meals, but other than that I haven't felt the urge to snack.

OH! and my biggest news of all!!!!!!!!!

I bought a new pair of pants today (they were Tall, so they'll have to be taken up in the legs) and they were a size 8!!!!! OMG! I was shocked. They are actually a bit baggy in the legs, but dh said they looked ok. I also got a pair of capris and they were an 11. Different brands, weird lol. They were on clearance at walmart. I also got some cotton capris and they were Mediums

I'm on cloud 9 right now!
