Budgeting with HCW

I wanted to start a blog about how this site has helped my family with our grocery savings but also how we are already seeing this savings reflected in our new budget. I have only known and been part of this site for a few weeks now, (Luckily I found it over spring break when I was home from work and was able to read EVERYTHING over and over). At that exact moment in our family's lives, we had also decided upon a budget and debt payoff goals ie, DR (dave ramsey). That is actually how I found you all, was through a thread there. Anyway it has been 4 weeks since we started the budget and we have had more success than we could have hoped for. Much of this is thanks to some unexpected overtime and a promotion for my husband at work. The other is thanks to this site. I hope to continue to update and give ideas to anyone here interested on how we are managing to pay off over 50k not counting house or vehicles. UGGGh. Thanks to everyone here for there help with the deals and tips on how to stockpile save big. I love you all for your help and I hope you all realize how far reaching your little weekly ideas and scenarios's can be in the real lives and budgets of all of us who are new at this and who depend on this.
