A local store, Pamida, is doing doubles up to and including $1 this week. They are kind of a mini waaay-overpriced WalMart.
I did snag a few things for cheap/free, and hey did give overage!

4 Old Spice Body Washes 18oz
-on sale for 2/$6, used $1/1 Qs
...total on each = $1
4 Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Flushable Wipes
-on sale for 2/$5, used $1/1 Qs
...total on each = $.50
5 Dawn Simple Pleasures Dish Soap
-on CLEARANCE for $2.60 each, used $1/1 Qs
...total on each = $.60
6 Band Aid 60ct
-reg. price $1.79, used $1/1 Qs
...total OVERAGE on each = +$.21
Total paid before tax = $7.14
I was VERY pleasantly surprised by the Band Aid price - we've been doing Kmart doubles here nonstop until recently and were stockpiling band aids at $2.19 for 20ct. I cleared them out at Pamida, going back later in the week to check for more.
Dawn Simple Pleasures - Awesome. I've been needing to stockpile dish soap but not found an awesome deal like this yet! Lemon and Apple, yum!
Going back later w/ $1/1 Crest coupons for the $1.99 crest sale!

we used to have a pamida here in atchison but there is a farm supply store there now and i miss the venture store that they had in st joe i go to sav on for bday presents for my relatives its kind of like a furniture store plus a dollar store all in one and i buy my bday cards at the WOW dollar store here in town for 50 cents each so i stock up on bday cards instead of paying $2-$3 for one card at walmart or buy one box of bday cards that has about 20 cards in it for about $5 and i found at walmart that u go to the craft department and buy a pack of the gift bags its cheaper then paying a dollar each for a bunch of bags everytime u have a friend or family member's bday coming up here is my list of bdays for the year
