It's been nearly a year since I last couponed. My stockpile is GONE and my massive upright deep freezer gave up on me. If couponing/stockpiling goes well I'll replace it within the next 6 months with a small chest one.

I am starting from scratch again, no coupons really other than my regular homemailers.

Sadly, no companies were contacted Sunday - INSANE pregnant leg cramps kept me pretty much off the computer most of the day.

Are you like me? And only contact companies when:

1. You have a complaint.
2. Someone else tells you to because they got good coupons when they did.
3. Do it like 2 times a month without any reason other than to compliment them - you'd do it more, you just forget...

Today, Saturday and Sunday I made it my goal to contact 5 companies a day - with compliments/complaints/coupon requests etc.

Day 3 has hit, and I feel great. DH is definitely making the transition easier. I find my stockpile of snacks and freezer of cooked meat tempting, though I've been successful in resisting. I think the issue is when I have down time I'm tempted to munch - like all of us!

So, DS and I have taken extra walks when temptation strikes. I think the switch would be MUCH harder if I tried to make more elaborate vegan meals. Sticking to basics really has helped. Here's my menu from today for...
