stockpile

I have over the past week carved a corner of the basement for my stockpile of canned goods. Basically the stuff creatures can't get into. My dh bought and put up a shelf for me, and I utilized another we had in the basement that was just holding empty boxes. We rec'd several large boxes of food from a recently deceased relative's house, and I was urgently needing to get them moved out of the foyer and put away and organized. I do have to say, it feels great to have such an organized space!!! I now can tell what I need to fill out my stock pile, and have already begun to act on it when opportunity arises.
Recent activity to fill out my stock pile:
-bought carmel sauce that I love for my icecream on sale using coupons, then submitting the crt for a rebate
-bought chicken stock at Target (Target brand 52 cents ea) and submitted crt for a NBPR rebate
-bought a couple of ketchups at Jubilee on sale $1 ea using a $1/2 coupon, then bought a couple of huge ones at CVS when I needed something extra to fill out my spending of expiring ECBs and using the 4/20 coupon
-salad dressings - just bought 10 Marzetti bottles FREE after $1 coupon at Jubilee. Never had them before, but tried the house italian last night - pretty good! I eat salads every day, so we do go thru a lot of this!
Holes that need to be filled:
-Tomato paste, diced tomatoes-Hoping to add some organic purchases this week after shopping at Wegmans using some soon to be expiring Muir Glen coupons
-A-1 steak sauce - need to keep my eyes open for best deal right now
-Kleenex - had a good stockpile going from CVS, but with three of us with colds, and dh that uses the tissues instead of napkins
I'm down to 4 boxes already!
-paper towels - can always use more of these, plan on buying at CVS w/ECB deal, then submitting crt for NBPR rebate
