Okay, the car is paid off, but we had a little mishap with the emergency fund....we had it built up to almost $500.00 and now it's back down to $175.00 (and I may have to dip into it this week). The main reason we had to use it is b/c I took a 12 week leave when DD was born and had to pay for our health insurance OOP. I'm starting my emergency fund TODAY. I will but putting $5 in an envelope in my dresser. This will serve as the emergency fund until I have enough to open a savings account. I hope to have at least $200 by the end of December 2009. I also hope to have my car paid off by December 2009 (we owe about $1700.00). By the end of April I hope to have $1000 in the emergency fund.
