Well this month is about to come to a close and just tallied up my totals and while i am happy with my grocery numbers, eating out seemed to be way over budget this month. I am a little disappointed in this as we are trying to eat healthier and financially i would have preferred to spend more of the money on food at the grocery store, march i hope to adhere to the budget better and try to get dh to stop eating out so much!

so i have found that tracking every cent is just not going to work for me, so i am thinking that going to the envelope system may be the best bet for me that way i can track on a monthly or weekly basis and rather than figuring out how much i spent after the fact, it may be better to go over what i have at the end of the month, mainly in entertainment/eating out/gifts areas.
