March 31:

Target on the other side of town, told dh about my lightbulb deal and that i still had r/c for 4 so he wanted me to do it again, so i went and got 4 more, 3 gillette bodywash/shampoos fac, and ds a pair of jeans 2.48 and ls t 1.48 for next fall.

OOP: .31! a g/c bal
Savings: 25.06

mcdonald's: total splurge, got a 1.00 large drink for the free redbox code and we were thirsty, filled it up and it was leaking from the bottom, so got another cup and another code! woohoo. LOL

oop: 1.08 for a drink and 2 codes.

March 30th: cvs: got my free always coupon just in time to use at cvs, also picked up some mm'sand jelly beans:

Target: what a bad experience, wanted to use r/c on light bulbs and coupons, manager didn't want to do it, but finally okayed it.

March 26th, went a little wild shopping today, but the sales were too good to pass up.

Price chopper 1: oj, peanut butter, chicken breasts (awesome deal, .88lb, plus used 3 .55/1 coupons, eggs, kraft crackers .49 a/c.

Price chopper 2: forgot cilantro so had to go to another store on the way home. cilantro, 2 jars of pb, 4 cans of fisher cheese curls.

March 24th: hair cut for ds

Target: another quaker deal, didn't have much coupons but after dh and ds ate a box of the granola's i went ahead and did one more deal to also get the bday rebate on them. also found trident splash on clearance and gillette bodywash for 2.00

March 14: hen house, decided to hit the last of the 13th sale cause i needed bananas and a newspaper. Also snagged 2 4packs free yo+ yogurt after markdown/sale/coupon

March 13th:
Hyvee: attempted the unilever deal, cat didn't print, grrh. Called/emailed, hope to hear from them on monday. Got 4 ragus and 11 lipton sides for

hyvee round 2: So when i was walking out i saw those spring into savings booklets and grabbed one. Didn't look at it until home and saw that they had a free redbox code in it. Waited for dh to get home and went back up there to get a movie and milk that i forgot. Also stopped by c/s and asked about using a catalina coupon i got at dillons. They said it was okay. So i go find the scott e/s that is on sale for 5.87, the 12 double rolls, well they were out and i asked an employee and they said theywould substitute the 12 mega! roll for the same price, so I got 12 mega roll scott e/s for 3.87 a/c. Plus 2 1/2 gal milk for 1.18 each.

OOP: 6.80
Savings: 6.05

march 10:

got a 25$ g/c inthe mail for cvs for rewards, used it to get dh's rx filled, used new rx crt, so got the g/c reloaded w/25$ so i got rx for free essentially. plus should get 1ecb back since i had ds's rx filled last month, not sure how that works, we don't get rx's very often.

Price chopper: markdown city! Went in for potatoes 10lbs on sale for 1.89, also got green peppers 2/1, free kelloggs fruits snack for ds's kids club free item of the month. Free wrigleys gum, markdown items: dannon single yogurt cups .69-.50 markdown each- 1/10 coupon, so 10 for .90. Flour markdown .99, reeses cereal 1.85-1/1=.85. There was more stuff i was interested in but, trying to do the pantry challenge so resisted, plus i left some coupons in the car.

Grand total: 5.22
Savings: 18.95

Walgreens: just went in for W pullups and free ritz, but found clearance trident white, yeah and gortons popcorn shrimp: Got 1 pack of pullups, 4 small boxes of ritz, 6 packs of trident and 1 box of shrimp.

OOP: 6.06
Savings: 21.66

Hen House: 3 dozen eggs and 1 gallon of milk

OOp: 5.18
Savings: 5.82



March 4: cigs, gas, haircut

Just 2 newspapers, dh is going to check work again and see if there are any inserts, last time he brought paper home the inserts were gone, but i told him to keep checking anyway!
