Done with kmart....

Even those super doubles won't get me in their doors after today. OMG! Their customer service is awful. I just explained to the customer service that i should have gotten the 5$ coupon for buying 25$ of p&G products, of course they pulled the "You used coupons blah, blah, blah..." I explained it was a form of payment, nope, still not good enough. Got the manager, she said the same thing, at that point i was angry, I don't yell or use foul language, just said it is false advertizing, mentioned calling BBB, etc. So here's the kicker. I told the manager I wanted to return the items. Well the computers wanted to give me the full refund w/coupon amount, Imagine That! Because they are a form of payment. they had me go back to the original register and had to completely void everything off, and they gave me my coupons back,...It seems everytime i try a cat deal at kmart it NEVER works. After spending 45 minutes dealing with this, I realized I don't care what deals they have i will not be going back to that kmart. NO apologies, nothing. They treated me as though i was in the wrong. I told the cashier, if i would have had these problems somewhere else they probably would have given me a 5$ g/c for the trouble, never mind me just getting the 5$ coupon i was suppose to get anyway. She didn't say anything to me the whole time, kind of ignored me, would not look at me, etc.

I had to go BACK in and ask for a photocopy of the giftcard refund, they didn't want to give me any proof of the transaction or anything, sorry, not doing that. i'm not trusting their word for it, another cashier said they couldn't give me a receipt, so i had her photocopy it for me, WTH? Ah well, i just filled out the survey online for the whole ordeal, they need to know the issues customers are having.

And to think i used to praise kmart and liked to shop there, not anymore, though...

    I hate Kmart too. I have never been a fan. I did however recently shop there thinking I would take advantage of the super doubles. I ended up mad and yelling at the customer service rep. I had some problems and attempted to get them resolved before I asked her to refund my entire purchase (as I had not yet left the store) and she refused. I told her to forget it that they could keep my money as it would be the last they ever got from me.

    You should call corporate about that. They are supposed to bend over backwards to please the customer! I used to work there and that was beat into us at training. (Apparently some people needed to be beat more with it)

    I don't work there anymore but I don't go shopping there either. Prices are too high.

    There must have been something wrong with their system because I did several transactions and got them each time. My largest total after coupons was less than $2.00, I has nothing to do with whether or not you used coupons. Im sorry you had a bad experience I guess it really all depends on the store and the reps and whether or not they know what the heck they are doing.

    kmart is out of the way for me so I rarely shop there. I did have trouble doing the doubles before - my $1/2 never worked and I usually ended up getting a refund at cs. They couldn't believe I didn't want to pay .25 for air freshener.

    My last bad experience was over the fruit of the loom - buy 5 get a $10 gc. The inventory in the store was low so I go to the net. It has all the info on the deal and lets me click and add to cart after it tells me the deal.
    When the box comes I have no crt and no rebate.
    After holding w 1-800 cs for 45 minutes and being xferred twice, being told to go to sears.com and click rebate - all for nada,
    I finally got my moms crt out and read that the deal excluded online purchases.

    I had to figure out my own problem.

    So I decide I will return and rebuy to get the precious rebate slip. I go to the store to return and I can't because my online purchase didn't have a crt. I ended up reprinting my confirm email and telling the cs desk I just wanted to rebuy so I will have a crt with the rebate on it.
    It worked fianlly, after several people tried to figure it out. A simple return.
    I guess the first 2 cs ladies were lazy and didn't want to mess with me.

    I understand the part about not taking ownership of the prob - wags did that to me yesterday. My 5/25 won't scan. The cashier told everyone else how sorry she was and kept staring at me. Even said she was sorry to them for this order holding them up.
    Finally after 10 min the manager did what I told him another store manager did. Grabbed someone elses out of another register and scanned it.
    No - I am sorry for your hassle, no apology at all.
    Acted like I inconvenienced them with my coupons.
    I was so mad.
    Looks like some company would be happy to have coupons and us couponers.
