Consolidating shopping trips:
After some thought and looking at gas milage etc. I have decided to try to limit my shopping trips in order to use less money on gas. Eventhough I live in a large suburb and there are dozens of stores within 5 miles of my house, with the rising gas prices I figured I can save about 2 dollars for everyday I don't go out shopping. This doesn't include the snacks i sometimes purchase for ds when we are out. I may go out this evening cause i need to get some milk, but I will be waitin until after dh is home so i don't have to bring ds, otherwise i may go out tomorrow, but dh may take the suv to get detailed at work so i may not have it to drive tomorrow, so i will have to wait and see what he says after he gets home from work.
July 10th:
Coupon meeting day!
Panera bread: oop: 3.74
Target:
did another 5/5 target q, this time the cashier was awful about it. There were two other lines and they were full and no one in her line I got in another line cause she has given me trouble before, but she came and said she could check me out. So i went reluctantly. She did not want to take the coupon and said I didn't get the baby oil?? Or benedryl, blah, blah,. I said well there are like 10 items listed there, and i cannot buy them all. She did push it through, but she did not want to and layed all my stuff on the counter. Then the person behind me had already put their stuff up, and the cashier started ringing up her stuff w/mine, and she got all upset w/the person behind me, Urgh. I have one 5/5 and one 5/3 that i need to use and i think i will be going to the supertarget on the other side of town to avoid this cashier.
Anyway what i got:
3 character bandaids
1 Johnson's swabs
1 johnson's head to toe wash
1 cooking spray on clearance
1 playdough set on clearance:

Bought a nice 55 piece brio train set off craigslist for ds for a birthday present, 45$, would have been 150$ or so new.
So here is the splurge, dh surprised me for our anniversary, we went to the new theatre restaurant and saw "All Shook Up" it was hilarious! Definitely worth the $$
