DS has a stomach virus and I had to stay home with him. Nothing like a two year old spewing from both ends to bring your day to a screeching halt.

You know, I can't say that I'm dying to go shopping or something. I still have my list of things I need to buy (Hello February!), but I've proven to myself that I can get by without most of the day to day minutiae I used to think we needed. We actually get by quite comfortably.

This has broken my fast food/convenience store habit, which is such a drain on the wallet. The money we've managed to save is way over and above what I thought it would...

I think DH is due for some gas today, if he hasn't gotten it already. We're only at $45
for the week, and I won't have to get gas until Thursday when the new week starts. I found a sale with good prices on some meat we are out of and I need to stock up. I'm going to make a trip tomorrow during lunch and see where it goes from there.

No money spent. We spent a nice day off from school and ended up at Grandma's most of the day. We went to McDonalds, but Grandma treated us .

We filled DS' script at Publix, where antibiotics are free. DH asked why Publix did this and I replied, "You just bought $6 worth of stuff, didn't you?".
