Halfway day! Woohoo!
I went to the grocery store on my lunch hour. I managed to keep it to $28.32.
I would have been under $25 if it hadn't been for those stupid ice cream sandwiches. They were taunting me.

 |  You were right, oh knowledgeable one! I have done much better this week. Granted, working 50 hours with an hour commute each way doesn't leave much time to spend. This week I spent: Groceries $15 (those strawberries were calling my name) Gas: $36 Per Diem earned: 9.63 Over time hours: $85 However, I think my crazy retirement needs ($1000 more on top of the $800 I am already saving) are because they are looking at my current market gains, or rather losses. Also, the calculator cannot account for promotions, so it is like I am never going to get a raise. But hey, when I do cruise around the world at 70 with my handsome husband, I will be to send you and Yako a postcard! |
