I have never blogged before( but I <3 blogs!!)

I am not sure what I will blog about, probably a little bit of everything---from my shopping successes and failures (yup a year and half doing this and I still have failures) whats going on in life, my $ spent, my to-do lists (maybe if I post them for the world to see, I will actually accomplish them)

July is always a tough $ month, expenses ALWAYS go up in July, if I can keep it under 550$ this month I will be thrilled !!! That amount will cover diapers, all hba, food, gifts, school supplies, kids allowance(everything but the bills)

yesterday I had oop of 2.33 for clothespins, frozen peaches and a newspaper

550.00-2.33=547.67

I got up this morning, and our youth group pastor, was just leaving the doorstep.....my boy had lost his flipflops last night at youth group, they couldnt find them at all, pastor even went back and looked again last night.....what did he leave on my doorstep? a 25.00 walmart giftcard!!!!! holy smokes!!!!

So with the gift card, we need to replace the boys sandles, I know there will be "leftovers" on the giftcard, but I dont know how I feel about spending it on "us", our pastor gave us way more then needed for a replacement pair of sandles/flipflops, and I dont know, I feel a little bit guilty spending the balance on us.......I probably shouldnt as a I give to our youth group weekly, some weeks its chocolate bars for treats, some weeks its hotdogs for bbqs, some weeks its drinks, some weeks its cinamon rolls....but part of me still says 'get the boy his sandles(or flipflops, I will let him pick) and then give back the balance of the giftcard back to our pastor"

thoughts? suggestions?

my to-do list for the day
dishes
sweep and mop the kitchen
finish the laundry
clean my bedroom (it looks like an explosion in there:shrug7: what happened?)

well...we got dishes done....MOST of the laundry done, the living room got swept instead of the kitchen and I didnt get to my room, but no one goes in there anyways so thats a small saving grace! .......but i got 9 loads of laundry washed, hung, brought in, folded and put away.....
