Stockpiling

Posted 02-14-2008 at 09:12:35 AM by latamama

Well I am starting to get a real stockpile of goods in my house between CVS and Kroger doing super Q's last weekend. So I now have a large stockpile (I live in an apartment so it's many smaller hidden piles in closets.) In my bathroom I have toothpaste, shampoo & conditioner, lotion, kids bath stuff, bars of soap, and tp. In my pantry I have cereal, pepperoni, popcorn, taco dinner kits. With money being tight as it is this stockpiling thing makes me feel more comfortable with the idea of not having money for food at then end of the month, because I have enough stuff to feed us for about a month not where I want to be just yet but way better then I was before. I only about a month into this stockpiling thing but I think I am getting the hang of it and it's a lot of fun.

If you're new to CVS....it will become addicting if it hasn't already! At the end of last year, my receipts were showing around $4400 in savings!!! So that might tell you how much "stuff" I had brought home over 2007!! I donate some stuff, keep some, resell some on ebay, and resell some to church friends for profit, and for fundraising for misssion trips. It's all so much fun!! :)
