Dumpster Diving

Ok, while it's not actual dumpsters that I dive into, I admit that recently I have been lurking outside several of the RiteAid stores near my house because of their Gift of Savings promotion (spend 100.01 and get $20 gift certifcate) looking for discarded receipts
While I do shop at RiteAid for their Single Check Rebate(SCR) program, I don't think I'll ever spend $100! And while I am thankful some people discard their receipts for my benefit, I am amazed at how much they are spending! I will never buy anything full price, even before I started couponing so my jaw nearly dropped when I picked up a receipt with all dental stuff for a little over $20. I mean, I won't even "buy" toothpaste if it's not free after coupon/rebate/RR or what have you (between CVS, Walgreens and RiteAid, I probably have more than enough to last me and my family at least 2 years without buying any toothpaste).
Well, I have now officially "spent" $100.01 and received my $20 gift certificate, thanks for the receipts that have been lost and found by me
Happy "dumpster diving" everyone!
