So this past week, I went Krogering. They are having a really good deal and i figured I could attempt to do a good job on some savings.
I'm new to it all, and I can't wait until I get so good I spend like dollars for a bunch of things, but I'm just a little nooblet and I'm working at it.
This is all I got (an estimate as far as my memory serves):
4 tombstone pizzas
2 NY garlic breads
6 Keebler packages of cookies
6 jars of Vlasic Kosher spear pickles
10 tubes of pillsbury rolls
2 pepsi max
6 mega sized rolls of Scotts towels
1 Purex laundry detergent
1 bag of Kroger white bread
1 package of Kroger eggs
1 tub of Kroger deli meat
1 Kroger half gallon milk
2 packages of chicken breasts
1 medium tub of Country crock butter
2 pasta sides
1 box of barilla pasta
2 boxes of Aunt Jemima waffles/pancakes
1 box of eggo waffles
3 bottles of French's mustard
4 bottles of windex
1 bottle of ranch
1 box of Betty Crocker muffin mix
1 big box of Honey Nut Cheerios
1 bottle of Softsoap liquid hand soap
2 packages of Kraft shredded cheese
1 bag of Tidy cat kitty litter
3 boxes of hot pockets
This took two trips so here is how it broke down:
First trip:
Items bought: 41
MFG CPN savings: $26.75
BONUS CPN: $3.10
STR CPN + KROGER SAVINGS: $52.33
TOTAL COUPONS: $82.18
TOTAL PERCENTAGE SAVED: 65%
Total had nothing been on sale: $126.41
OOP: $44.23
Second trip:
Items bought: 24
MFG CPN savings: $22.60
BONUS CPN: $2.30
STR CPN + KROGER SAVINGS: $22.53
TOTAL COUPONS: $47.43
TOTAL PERCENTAGE SAVED: 75%
Total before cpns: $65.37
OOP: $17.94
Not too bad. I'm done for groceries for the month hopefully. Go me!

| | Way to go. It is hard learning and remembering, but as your stockpile grows, you need to remember less and less and you will actually remember more and more. Then you will begin to see great savings in your monthly budget if you have one. Great job. |
