The summer was so frustrating for me in regards to couponing. I had to cancel my newspaper membership and we hardly had any money in the bank. This fall isn't turning out any better. When I thought my car could handle on a couple more months, it gave out completely on me so we had to get another one. We went from one car payment a month to two. It was just a blow to a long series of blows for me.

Since canceling our subscription to the newspaper, I haven't been able to coupon at all.

Today I bought a newspaper to get the sunday coupons. And I'm excited to get back into it.

I'm trying to keep up with everything. It seems like the summer is usually when things should calm down, but it doesn't!

I am overwhelmed with a lot of things lately. This economy is not helping my job hunting efforts. Sometimes I kick myself in the butt for doing something that I enjoyed doing thinking that there would be a job for me right out of college. This is my 4th year graduated from college and no steady full time job. I could just scream with how frustrated I am about this....

We got really tight on money. I had to cancel my newspaper subscription. Coupons have been the furthest thing from my mind and it's been really tough to keep doing it when all I could think about was going to CVS or Kroger to buy stuff with the coupons.

Well guys, my sister asked me to show her how much DH and I saved in groceries this month. Well, I was able to document every single shopping trip I had on my blog and it sure saved my toosh when I couldn't find a receipt!

So dec 08's totals were this:

Percentage saved: 64%

Here's hoping January will be just as good if not better! I'm getting more picky.
