What a jam-packed weekend we had! My mother and father drove down to visit on Friday morning. They took us to lunch at the new Fogo de Chao's that opened up in the Inner Harbor area of Baltimore. What a neat experience! It's an upscale Brazilian buffet restaurant where they have a really nice salad bar (think the complete opposite of Golden Corral!) with all kinds of nice vegetables, salads, smoked meats and cheeses, relishes, etc. When you are finished with your salad plate everyone flips over...

Quaker coupons have finally come out of summer hibernation and are hitting the streets this Saturday. I've been cranky without my morning bowl of oatmeal!

Sadly, Luciano Pavarotti has finally succumbed to his ongoing battle with Pancreatic cancer. It was always one of my dreams to see him perform live.
