The last thing I need is another blog-- not to mention another reason to spend (waste) more time on HCW! Unlike my personal blog I will try to keep this PG rated and politically correct. I'll keep the Al Gore rants to a minimum.

Things my "real life" friends know to be true of me...(without spilling all of the beans)
I'm married to Michael- Gorilla King in the land of HCW- and we are the "parents" of a quirky 4-year-old Australian Cattle Dog/Corgi mix. Maryland is currently the state we call home.

I am a fanatical Republican, bibliophile, and board game aficionado. I love to take day trips to museums and historic sites. I'm in my element when I'm cooking up something tasty in the kitchen, curled up on the couch with a great book (and a glass of wine!), or pursuing one of many creative ventures. I'm a one-hit-wonder junkie and (embarassingly) enjoy those sappy call-in radio shows.

My brother and I used to joke that our Mother's favorite brand was "clearance" so it isn't surprising that as an adult I am naturally attracted to the thrill of the deal-hunt.
