Cabbage Soup Diet: Day 1

Ok.. I found this thing called the "Cabbage Soup Diet" and thought I would give it a go. I'm starting out at 146 and I will not weigh myself until the day after Day 7. That way, I don't fret about whether or not I am losing any weight. Even if I don't, I'll be comforted by the fact that I ate better than I have in years.
Last night, I went to the store and bought the ingredients for the soup plus all the other things I am "allowed" to eat on day 1 (all the cabbage soup + fruits I can eat, except bananas). I deviated from the "normal" recipe a bit, though. I added Rotel. I don't see how that could hurt as it is vegetables, right?
Here's what I put in MY cabbage soup:
5-6 large bulb green onions, stalks and bulbs
3 carrots, chopped,
1/2 head cabbage, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped (supposed to be 2, but the other had a worm in it)
1 bunch celery
2 cans Hunt's Fire Roasted tomatoes
1 can Rotel
4 cans Swanson chicken broth
1 package onion soup mix
8 oz fresh, sliced mushrooms
This morning, I got up and had a big bowl of it for breakfast. It was spicy. Not too bad. I didn't expect it to taste as decent as it did; but, I am also a vegetable freak. As for the fruit; tangelos, peaches and cantelope. (they were on sale)
So far, it's not horrible, but I can feel something going on in my gut as I type.
