One year of a weight loss journey

Tomorrow will be exactly one year since i started WW (for the 3rd time, in 7 years). Today i am at the lowest weight in 7 years. About 7 years ago i started ww, lost about 25+/- lbs, stopped going and gained weight back. About 4 years ago i went back and lost about 40lbs. Last October i literally woke up and was at my highest weight ever. I am 5'2" and was 216lbs. It is bitter sweet that i am 47+ lbs lighter BUT i still think about the what ifs. I have had some ups and downs but am so happy to be where i am. I remember in Jan/Feb, i was around 180something, the weight i was at when i started WW the very first time 7 years prior. I don't know what makes this time different, but i can feel it is. I only have 33lbs to go until i reach goal! I'm estimating something between late March and Early May.

Good luck losing the amount you want. I was about the same as you in march 2010 when I started low carbing only did that about a month then I started counting calories. I have lost 30 lbs two times before on WW this time I didn't go to WW. I lost 25 pounds counting calories but have now stopped and have gain 5 punds back. i need to get back on track because it can gain 30 pounds in a month. I am also about 5'2 my highest weight a couple year ago was 195 right now I am 160. I want to be at least 130 to feel I am at a more ideal weight. I am not feeling motivated right now like you so I hope you make it. I am 54 its so hard to loose but harder to keep it off.Posted 10-01-2010 at 08:16:36 PM by Lmason
