My grandpa has gone to be with Jesus. He passed away late Sunday night. We new he was going to die soon, but I guess I didnt know it would upset me this much. The really bad part is when I went home 2 weeks ago, I did not even get to see him. I am so mad at myself for not taking the time to see him. Now I will not get the chance again. It really makes you look at things differently. The good thing is in March I went home and I spent about 3 hours talking with him. It was so awesome! We had never connected like that before. I was full of questions and I did not want to leave. I guess I knew in my heart that something was about to happen since we were able to become so close in that conversation. I even sent him a card telling him how much that talk meant to me and how much I loved him and respected him.
I am flying home to his funeral tomorrow. I wasn't sure if I wanted to go or not, but the difficulty in deciding to go or not made the choice for me.

I am sorry to hear about the loss of your grandfather and am glad that you made the right choice to attend his funeral.
