OAMC - Once A Month Cooking - Buttermilk Waffles
Because of the cheap buttermilk and eggs I bought I looked around to see what else I can make with it before ti goes bad. I found a great recipe for buttermilk waffles and I doubled it.

3.5 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
8 large eggs
4 cups buttermilk
3.5 sticks butter
Melt butter in microwave until soft. Add flour, baking soda and salt, mix well. Beat in eggs and buttermilk until combined. Don't over mix, batter will be lumpy.
Cook on oiled waffle iron until desired color.

Cool on cookie sheets and then while still on cookie sheets stick them in the freezer for 30 minutes. Remove from cookie sheets and put in zip lock freezer bags. Made 36 4x4 waffles. Re-heat by putting them in the toaster or microwave.
As Mrs. Weasley mentioned you put them flat like this to freeze so they don't get all stuck together and have to thaw the entire pack to eat just a few. Once they are frozen you can then stack them together for storage. (Thanks Mrs. Weasley)
