OMG, Yummy Mango Bread

When I was a little girl my Hawaiian grandmother used to make this delicious Mango Bread for us. With all the mango I just bought I wanted to make something with it.

Okay, I don't have a Hawaiian grandmother, but if I did, I bet she would have made this for me. It is so good. And if you eat it hot, it is like a cobbler.

Thanks to an ad in our local Freecycle Discussion group I was able to take part in a once a year bulk frozen fruit purchase. I ordered 30 lbs of frozen blueberries and 40 lbs of frozen mango. These are individually quick frozen and come in a huge box.

My mother split the cost...and the goods with me. We put 2 cups blueberries...

Remember when I said I buy stuff if it is free, even if I don't need it? Again the reason why is that #1 I can always donate it and #2 it will help boost my totals for the gas discounts and other coupons. So I do it.
