May 3, 2008 - OH HOW I LOVE TARGET!
Target has a deal going on right now, buy $5 or more in any Aveeno products and get a $5 gift card. This worked out to one bar, one tube and one trial size per order but then I also had $1.50 coupons. Total came out to around $4.60 after coupon and I got a $5 target gift card for it...rinse and repeat with prior gift card!
Another HOT...well actually freezing deal I found was the clearanced Mrs. Smith Mousse. They were on clearance for 98¢ for a two pack. On some of the boxes there was an ad "save $1 on your next purchase with coupon inside." So I got one, paid for with the gift card from the Aveeno and opened the box and tore off the coupon, it was part of the box. Rang up another one, used that coupon to pay for it, kept doing it till all were rung up...in separate transactions and all coupons were used.
In total I ended up with:
4 Aveeno bars
5 Aveeno trial size lotions
6 Aveeno tubes (used 5 $1.50 coupons total)
2 Philly Cream cheese clearanced to $1.48 each
1 Laughing Cow cheese clearanced to 88¢ each
9 2-packs Mrs. Smith Mousse clearanced to 98¢ each and used $1 coupons from package
oop Zero since I started with a gift card and used the final gift card from the Aveeno deal to buy the cream cheese, laughing cow and the mousse!
total available to spend $827.79
total saved for the year $3477.11
