Kroger is having a special promo "Buy 10 participating items get $5 off instantly." You can actually do this 3 times per transaction for a total of 30 items and have $5 taken off for each set of 10 items. Easy enough! Here is what I got:
7 Thomas bagels used 4 $4 coupons and 1 $3/3 coupon
6 Dannon Light & Fit 4 pack smoothies used $1 coupons
2 Welches juices used 50¢ coupons that doubled
4 Kraft cheese used $1/2 coupons
1 Dole 4 pack fruit cup used 75¢ coupon
not part of the deal
5 bananas (2.70 lbs)
1 Yoplait Kids yogurt used free item coupon
6 Disney Cool Squeeze gogurts (quick reduced to 99¢ each)
also used $5/50 Kroger and a $5 Quaker/ Tropicana rebate check
paid .69¢ oop, but later realized the $3/3 coupon did not come off, so will get a refund of $3, thus making $2.31 on this purchase!
total available to spend $920.23
total saved for the year $2759.94

| |  It is quite funny in my house. When we shop, the kids all know to help bring the stuff inside. But instead of normal people putting it away, they also know it has to be stacked on the table so I can take pictures before we put it away. I think my kids are going to grow up warped...but frugal! |

| |  $5 Quaker/ Tropicana rebate check I see you were able to use this rebate "check" Did you have a hard time with it? I have tried to use it at 2 different stores, and it beeps so they tell me I can't use it. I thought maybe I need to be buying a Quaker product for it not to beep, but it doesn't look like you did. Any input? TIA |
