Our Way As A Family To Obtain Q's/inserts

Hi: We used to "dumster dive" at the local newspaper but they moved over to another town about 12 miles from our house, so we've had to rely on reverse paper routes, i.e. pick up the papers from the neighbors, take out inserts and some ads with qs and recycle the papers for 2 cents a pound. Doing this has kept us in inserts (20 to 30 for each week). So then we date and file them. One rule of thumb for us is never recycle a coupon until it expires, so we have some inserts dating back several months. Is this fun or what? I guess each one of us has a different way to get our inserts huh? Also all friends are asked to save them for us as well. We've been called the King and Queen of coupons by many people.

Great job! I wish I could get that many inserts!!! I'm to scared to ask people for their papers and I live in apartments so I can dig through my neighbors trash. :(
