2010 Spending/Savings Log

I know I should of started this in January but we know the story of what happened, so I am now keeping track of what I spent/saved. Im not going to include the past walmart trip. I will start with yesterday's trip to Stop and Shop. Hopefully I'll be able to save $5k and build up my piles.
Total Spent - $105.30 on Food Stamps $8/lo for month :(
Total Saved - $2.75*
Year to Date Spent - $105.30
Year to Date Saved - $56.50**
*I'm only counting q's used savings. If I included store savings, then I would be messed up with what to put into my savings bag.
**Added $50 from the savings thread I joined and extras quarters lying around.

Todays *Feb.11* trip to Wags and Taco Bell
This is my first trip since I moved a year ago. Cant wait to really get going :) I made $11.50 in RR's for next week and spent $35.41..Wish it would be more evened out but its good for now. Also went to Taco Bell and got that new $5 box thing..its pretty good, 1 taco, 1 cheesy chordita crunch, 1 supreme burrito, a thing of cinnatwists, and a med. drink..not bad for $5 + tax and they even give you a mint and a wetnap which I thought was funny :)

I had to go to my dd's and ex's nana's wake and needed to fill up the gas tank before I went, that cost $30 and I was hungry and got Dunkins on the way, I was sad so it cheered me up a bit and spent $5.45, and on Monday got Taco Bell for lunch after dd's dr. appt, was going to go to wags but was way to cold and windy out for dd, TB cost $7.05.

Went to wags and walmart. I wanted to get some of the half off airwick but they were all gone :( and they were out of venus' so I couldn't do that deal again either :( I did manage to snag some after v-day deals and the candy RR. Spent $22.45 after RR's and q's and got back $6 RRs..hopefully after next week there'll be some rolling deals. Then at walmart I picked up some food and clearanced clothes for Jaelyn, spent $60.25 and got a subway meal for $8.xx. Lots of spending today but I have a lot of stuff now, so hopefully I can calm down but yet again I forgot to buy stamps...Iyiyi

Went to wags like usual. I orginally went to get a newspaper and the venus deal but they were out of newspaper and the venus' weren't $8.99 anymore :( but I did grab one and the free olay. Also grabbed a coloring book for Jaelyn and some bubbles for easter and a BIG teddy bear for v-day next year, should of been $5 instead of $10 since it was 75% off, will go back tomorrow and get $5 back. So I spent $15.98..should of been $10.98

Let's see I spent $293.34 and save $94.89, wow I didnt even break even :( I am glad that I saved almost a $100 though. I made up a new spending limit for the rest of the year well until next march. I will not spend more than $160/month on things beside cable and car fixes. This includes everything from food, gas, minutes, clothes, and stockpile things. Well its the first of a new month, new money, and a new spending limit. I already went shopping, boy do i love shopping :) I went to walmart and taco bell. I got Jaelyn some winter clothes on clearance :) and started some of my tp stockpile. Only got 3 packs since that's all I could fit in the bottom of the stroller. The most expensive thing I got was $7 and that was her easter dress. I got Jaelyn 2 outfits for $2/each when they were $9/each, $3 sleeper, $3 pair of pants, $3 pair of sandals, and a $1 sweatshirt. Then I spent $3 on tp. Almost didnt find them. Hopefully walmart isnt discontinuing white cloud :( Then I went to Taco Bell and got the usual lunch for $7.05. So I spent $31.05 out of my $160/month. Can I make it???
*Made some changes below, I took out the $105 in food stamps, since that wasnt my $$ in the first place and using the savings for car repair so Im back down to the $3 saved today.

Went to walmart again. Got more clothes on clearance for jaelyn and more tp...I still have 32 packs to buy!!! Then i grab some xmas presents for $8. i get to go out tomorrow and pay the stupid cable bill and get my car fixed hopefully along with my home phone. Spent $68.68 today, not the best but $20 of it went to a wii game, wii fit plus to be exact...

Went to walmart, got some more tp. I only have 27 more packs to buy, yeah me :) Then I'm starting to buy DD size 3t clothes now since she has enough 'warm' clothes. I did splurge and buy some easter chocolate, and got 2 satin care gels. I also grabbed some cleaning stuff since I'll be doing my spring cleaning soon, and totally spaced about buying a vacumm, the main reason why I went lol :) Today I spent $81.26, I know I went over budget, but I cashed my backpay check today so I did have a comfy zone, but I'm almost my house/hba and DD's clothes piles almost done, I'll probably finish them next month and then in July/august do my summer clothes pile for DD. Then since the weather was so nice, I thought starbucks deserved my business, esp since I havent been there since last year so add another $4.96.
