Return of the Reader

One year ago to this very date, I started this Blog and titled it 'My reading Journal'. A lot has happened in this one year,we sold our house and moved into a new one, I quit my part time job, I celebrated my 34th Birthday, my brother had his first child- a girl, my sister finally moved to her dream house, my parents extended their U.S trip for an entire year, my husband transferred from one department to another, I was unexpectedly and totally blown away my the Summer Olympics in china, we took an impulsive and entirely unplanned trip to MO to see family which turned out to be the best vacation ever, my children began their formal reading of Koran and last but by no means least , for the first time in seven years I am by myself for the most of the day ( my youngest stared KG this year!)
A lot happened from 9/18/2007 to 9/18/2008...last year I was typing for this Blog while sitting in a beautiful Yellow sitting room, today I am sitting in a first floor den which is full of sunlight and a little nippy then the rest of the house.
One thing that has stayed constant without even a hint of change is my love of books and reading. I admit, I have not been vigilant at all about updating my Blog, matter of fact there has not been a single entry since the day of its conception but hey this is a new ear and no time like now to resume filling the pages of My reading journal.
