Great way to get more inserts- and for a good cause!

Here's a great idea if you're looking for a way to get MORE insert coupons... and the bonus: it's for a great cause!
During the summers I volunteer at my local animal shelter. One of the jobs I get to do is to sort/unfold newspapers. They use the papers to line the kennels for the dogs and cats there, and they go through A TON each day. So I get to go through the papers and unfold them for easy pick-up. Here's the awesome part: they can't use ads or inserts (they are too slippery, don't absorb well, etc.) so the inserts get thrown in the trash. :hectic1:
I must have spent HOURS doing this job last summer, and that was before I started couponing, and now I'm cringing at the thought of all those inserts going to waste. So if you love animals, and you love coupons, this would be a great job for you!
I can't wait for summer to roll around! How about you?
P.S. Most animal shelters welcome volunteers, even if they are underage. It's a good way to get service hours. Some places only let children under 16 volunteer if they are with an adult, though. So if you are a mom, bring your kid along and use the extra hands. It's a really rewarding experience.
