ACK... hate decisions and feeling like I let people down...

So, I was offered a new position at work, but it waws just not the right position for me at this time. Three years from now perhaps, but right now I feel like this position would have thrown my work-life balance all out of whack. So, I had to turn it down... which was fine, and I am ok with that. But, I hate feeling like people are thinking that I SHOULD have taken it because it was a great opportunity. But, an opportunity is not always a good thing if it's not coming at the right time.

I was also offered a different position, which is far more in line with what I want to do. But, I had to tell my project manager that I didn't want to continue to work on his project. This is where I feel like I have let people down. They gave me a great opportunity when they promoted me last year and gave me leadership responsibilities... but it's not the right place for me. Besides I am not sure where that contract is going to go at the end of September... But I feel and over leaving them hanging like that.

Oh well... guess I just have to get over my own fears...
