Tonight's shopping trip was totally nuts! (Terrible pun intended.)



Total spent: Nothing! I actually made a profit of $6.52.

I got overage from my coupons, and although I thought I had gotten enough filler items, apparently I thought wrong! They paid me 2 cents out of the register in overage. And then I looked at the catalinas that had printed out - I earned a surprise coupon...

It's a great feeling to start off your monthly budget spreadsheet with only .33 cents in expenses! Here's what I got:

1 box of Rice-a-Roni
1 pakcage of corn muffin mix
1 jar of peanuts
3 packets of Kool-Aid (OH YEAH!)
2 cans of tuna
1 packet of Maizena corn starch fortified beverage - whatever that is, but...

I did a lot of shopping tonight, to use up all the good coupons that were expiring on the 30th. And I got great results!
