Shopping Trip - July 6th

This wasn't the most exciting trip, but it's been fun to record my grocery shopping here - makes a nice accompaniment to my budget spreadsheet to track how I'm doing!
Total Spent: $1.06 - would have been a lot less, but my store's stock was severely depleted from the holiday, so I wasn't able to buy all the overage items I had planned. And I was having some serious chocolate cravings tonight, so forgoing the candy wasn't an option.
Total saved: $19.72
Accumulated a grand total of $79.25 towards my 2nd fuel discount so far.
I got:
2 boxes of Rice-a-Roni
2 boxes of Zantac
Sunday newspaper - more coupons!
5 candy bars - the empty wrappers are meant to signify the 2 I ate in the car on the way home!
And yes, I realize the irony of purchasing candy and Zantac at the same time.
The checker commented that tonight's trip "Is the most you've spent all week!".
