Ramblings of a Couponer w/ no 'play' money

I SO cannot wait until Friday, when I get my paycheck-some $$$ to work with! Can't wait until DH can get his 401k $, and gets his problem w/ unemployment straightened out, and the taxes are done and e-filed, so we can get that $, 'cuz my p/t check doesn't go very far.
I planned on doing the gift card deals at Rite-Aid this month, (would've been my first), but it was not to be. I was SO looking forward to learning the RA ropes in Jan.
I have a handful of small rebates due to come anytime now. Wishing them in, hasn't gotten them here any faster.
No longer $ to buy papers with. Now dependent on others to bring me inserts. W/ the holidays and everyone being away, I've only been able to get a tiny handful of inserts.
Please pardon my venting. Phil 4:19 says that God shall meet all our needs, and he has done that, indeed. Thank God I was able to get that meat at Giant, on the 5th, before things got worse. So. I am encouraged by that.

I always hate when money is just too tight to do the "deals" that I want to do. But you know what? The deals come around again. All things in their own time.

I understand about sitting on the side lines and not getting in on some of the deals.
