Goodbye CVS

Went to several CVS stores today. I had several things I needed and LOTS of things I could get instead, just in case they were out.
WELL... none of the stores had ANY of the things I needed!! Once again I wasted my time writing scenarios, wasted gas driving around, and added frustration in my life that I just don't need!
I'm so fed up with the CVS stores not having anything.
I went by WAGS and they had EVERYTHING I needed/wanted. Their sale price items were fully stocked and I had such a pleasant experience.
So, goodbye CVS. You're just not worth the hastle.

Yep, I have done that.
I get mad at wm, cvs, wags, ra, target, winn dixie.
Then I decide I am letting them win when I don't get the "loss leader" deals so to speak.
In the end I stay away a few months and go back. Reading about all these double dip deals on here does it. LOL
Bottom line for me are the deals.
So I started asking when the sales are activated and when the trucks are in. I asked about special ordering too. Some cvs/wags will special order. Both get multiple trucks in during the week too. Wags and cvs both activate early.
Those $10 ecb wyb $20 tp deals and then we had 4 ($1) qs pull me back into cvs every time.
A wags mm deal, brings me back every time.
Walmart inventory and price matching brings me back. Keep nagging the stores until you find a good one. I have 2 that will let me use coupons on trial sizes, ie.....97 tide and a $1 coupon
Target will have a mm using the target generator q and a manq and that brings me back in...I keep the store policy in my coupons. I also go during the day and norm business hours...ie m-f 9 to 6 cst. Their c/s says they will fight for me if I call during business hours and if the printed policy doesn't work.Posted 02-01-2009 at 04:47:28 PM by thickbluebug

I get fed up with CVS every couple weeks too, but then I look at all the FREE stuff that we get and I cant say goodbye to CVS just yet..... I got every Sunday at 8am. DH knows that that is 'my time' and that he has to watch DS! LOL. Even getting to CVS at 8am on Sunday sometimes I still find items out of stock. Dont give up yet! :)Posted 02-02-2009 at 03:02:57 PM by courtneyrtr
