Tears at CVS

Posted 01-25-2009 at 08:33:02 PM by FreckleTown

Sunday afternoons are the best times for me to shop since everyone naps after church. I gathered and organized all my coupons and separated them into WAGS, Kroger, and CVS.

I have not been to CVS in almost a month. Everytime I go to get a FREE or after free item (or any half-way decent deal) they are out. All 5 stores! It's gotten to where I don't even look at the CVS forum because it's too frustrating.

Katy is the coupon meca of the world, I think

For some CRAZY reason, I decided to go today. I saw the Fusion razors and Gillette were free and thought my DH would like both.

I walked straight to the razor aisle and there it was... ONE razor left! I almost cried tears of joy. I haven't seen an ECB razor in MONTHS! Truly, I wanted to cry.

A few aisles over I found the Gillette. Heaven must have opened wide as angels burst into song at the sight of products that were actually in the weekly ad.

I'm glad I don't live in Katy as I think all the publicity from Erin has created a coupon frenzy down there in TX. LOl! But then again, maybe if I lived down there I would be able to do better on my grocery bill than I can up here in TN. Oh well!
