One Saturday in Katy, TX

I just attended a coupon class in Katy, TX this morning. The clinic that my neighbor told me about (we have no insurance) was the one our $5 donation went to. Small world. It felt good to help an organization that helps so many... including me, soon.
I was nervous walking into a huge group of people I didn't know so I sat in the back (of course). It's difficult for me to strike up conversation with those I do not know. The lady next to me introduced herself and later her friend and they were so friendly. It made me feel "at home".
The three ladies (from this board) that taught the class were "real" people who were genuine and helpful. I loved the fact that one of them had her daughter with her because my youngest looks her age and it seems that if she can coupon then maybe I can too.
My previous thoughts about stockpiling are changing, I printed online coupons on my computer, signed up for this board, cut some coupons we were given, and generally feel very excited about helping my family save money.
I'd say that's a lot learned in one Saturday morning in Katy, TX.

| | I was there too and couldn't agree more. After years of trying to use coupons to my advantage I got home and getting myself organized for my first shopping trip. |
