Last week at Albertsons I bought 20 boxes of Hamburger Helper. After coupons and discounts they cost me $5.00.

To make it even better, I had 20 peelies to save $1.00 on hamburger. So I got 20 hamburger patties for my daughter's graduation BBQ FREE.

Now the best part is, I can send in the receipt for the Heineken rebate and get $10.00 back. I made 5 dollars profit minus the cost of a stamp. I have 20 boxes of HB helper and 20 HB patties for FREE plus profit!

I also bought $20.00 worth of miracle whip, after discounts and coupons I paid $10.00 (paid with a Walgreens RR) and I will get $10.00 back from a Coors light rebate good on condiments.

I also used Walgreens RR's to buy an ice chest and trash bags that are on the Walgreens rebate. I am also sending the receipt in for a Bud Beach rebate. Free cooler and trashbags!

I am a at home daycare provider and what I am spending on groceries for daycare and for my family is taking all that I am making. I am hoping to use this site to save me some money each month. I am currently spending about $800 a month at walmart just for groceries, pet food, cleaning supplies, basically everything that is needed to run my home. I would like to cut this in half by the end of this year so that we can have some extra money for the family. I am open to any suggestions on ways to save. I am very new to this game and still trying to figure it all out.

Just on a side note. Aside from debt.

I am fed up already with Wag's.

I think I might be the problem too.

I got after it was all said and done about $350 RR. Like seriously what could I do with all of that? So I put $200 of it in a Visa giftcard (before HCW banned the idea).

Now the same store is limiting it to 1 RR per transaction. And when my friend went today to check out she got some ALL with the RR and it printed out a 3 RR.

They ripped it up in front of her. Now mind you this is the same cashier who let me put all of them into a Visa gift card before. She said, I really don't want to do this, but I have to. She even called over the AM to check it out, and he told her to do it.

Now why is it they said that you can get $20 in RR to use on your next purchase. And get it prints 2 out to start with anyhow. I think they are false advertising. If you ask me. And since this is my blog. I'm right.

Finally, most of the rest of the stuff I had pre-ordered from Walgreens came in late Saturday night. I was getting worried since Saturday night marked the end of the $20 RR deal for buying 9 P&G items. Again...I did not clear any shelves since I pre-orderd this stuff ahead of time!

27 Cascade *used some 25˘ and 50˘ coupons*
65 Charmin Freshmate wipes *used 25˘ coupons for some of them*

paid with gift card, nothing oop and I have have $220 in RR to use

total available to spend $827.79

total saved for the year $4038.60

hi,

i went to shaw's supermarket which had a sale on cheerios 14 oz box 10 for 20.00 with a store coupon of 10.00 off if 10 were bought for an end cost of 10.00. i also used 5/1.00 off 2 box coupons so the end cost on 10 boxes was 5.00. not too bad for a newcomer. hopefully, i can get some tips for more seasoned shoppers to pay even less. p.s. the sale has end extended to 5/11 so if you have you circular from week ending 5/7, you can still use the 10.00 coupon.
