Yeah, I'm sad to admit it, I'm yet another year older....... 34 yrs young to be exact and while I'd have to say that it's been a pretty good day, I'm still a little upset. As of right now, my dad and brother still hasn't called. Neither has any of my friends.... :sad:
My oldest child decided to really show her butt today and made this evening rather stressful for the entire family.
My dh did surprise me w/balloons, flowers and a boyds bear.
Honestly, I just don't get my family. BUT, I guess that's the way they always are and I shouldn't expect anything else, but deep down inside of me, there is a part of me that WANTS them to care and WANTS them to remember me, remember MY birthday.
I don't know, it was still a really good day. I got free food at bob evans, free ice cream at baskins robbins and some KILLER deals at Target and Kroger's.

Well let me say Happy Birthday.
Let me also say that in my experience with my own DD13, they always pick the best times to show the "butt" as you put it. My biggest pet peeve with her right now is the "making me out to be a liar" thing. For instance today she may say "I love chocolate milk." and tomorrow she may walk upon a conversation between me and another mom and hear me say "Oh, DD loves chocolate milk." Well what will she say "No I don't I can't stand it." Geez! Makes me want to slap the silly out of her.
Anyway, glad your hubby hooked you up with some goodies and what more could a coupon clipping, deal seeking mom want than a free dinner and desert without having to do the dishes.

We have a lot in common. I, too am turning 34 this year,
very relunctantly. I also do not get my family at all. I
usually handle it well, but sometimes it can really get me
