Saw the rheumatologist today......

and well, still no definite answers about anything. I did however spend over an hr w/the dr. Shocked the crap out of me!!!! He was very thorough and did an exam. Took down a lot of notes, even took my list of probs I've been having physically. Very compassionate, yet straight forward dr.
He then sent me for labs. I didn't think she was ever gonna stop taking blood from me!!!! But that's all behind me. The dr. didn't say what he was testing, just that I needed labs. They also did a urinalysis. :shrug7:
I go back March 5 to see him and we'll go from there. He did mention something about longterm steroids.
Not real sure about that either, but I assume that I'll have more of a bigger picture painted for me and hopefully some answers in 2 wks.
I will def. keep everyone posted when I find something out. Thank you so very much for the support and prayers!!!

Can I ask...what are your other symptoms (I'll go look through your blog to see) Do you know that RA is also linked to thyroid issues and can be treated with things other than steroids? It also cam be linked to Adrenal fatigue which could certainly be the case given all the stress you have had. Google up Dr Lam and adrenal fatigue.
