Used first raincheck ever!

Today I used my first raincheck ever. I'm still learning about these, and couponing all together. I started couponing in June. We have no CVS, Walgreen's, Rite-Aid, or even a Target to get those great deals like everyone else. But I am able to still save a lot and get some good deals. I had gotten several $2 cats at Smith's for the Glade warmers deal. So today I got 20 four packs of Scott Extra Soft toilet paper using a raincheck for the 10/$10 price and using many $1 off, some .75 cents off, and two .55 cents off q's. I also bought 4 Glade Plugin Warmer using two BOGO q's. My total was $8.09. I paid $6 in oyno cats, and $2.09 on my card. I had to go to CS to get my cats for the Glade I just bought, because the cashiers apparently had jammed, and mine never printed out. But in the end, I got four $2 oyno cats. So, basically cost me .09 cents for 20 packs of tp and 4 Glade Plugin warmers! I am loving rainchecks now! I just wish they were good for longer than 30 days!
In the store, while checking out, ds asks if I love coupons. I tell him I love him. He is after all the main reason I use them. So we can save money and afford our new home and have a safe home finally. Even if we have to penny pinch all we can, it's so worth it to have a safe home of our own. I am so grateful for all those at HCW, as you are helping a single mom out! You are each heros in my eyes. (some of in particular too, and you know who you are!!) This is my first blog, and we'll see how I keep up with it, and what deals I can find! But I am loving couponing and HCW!!
