I just got off work

and I'm exhausted. I have a new baby and no matter how much I work, I still can't afford him. My husband works pretty hard and I don't really need a stockpile... I guess I joined this site because I am interested in the reasoning behind couponing and some of these stories are very inspiring. I have to admit, getting stuck behind some couponers at the store can be quite frustrating when they are yelling at the clerks because a deal didn't work the way they had wanted it to... but you gotta give the clerks credit, I mean they are working ya know? Just like you are with your couponing. You wouldn't really be able to do this stuff without them.
My mind is going everywhere... I don't really need a stockpile of things, I just need a little help on some deals (I only have ONE card). Is it possible to be able to get things with one card?
Diapers is my major concern. If anybody could help me that would be great. I promise I wont take more than I need! :D

| | welcome daisylove! first of all you contradict yourself, lol: I have a new baby and no matter how much I work, I still can't afford him then go on to say : My husband works pretty hard and I don't really need a stockpile If you can't afford him, you should take the steps to start stockpiling to be able to better afford him. when you get to the point where you can stockpile items, no matter if they are food, toothpaste, shampoo or diapers...you will never have to pay full price for those things again. And paying nothing or very little for items is WAY better than paying full price. That allows you to re-direct your money to other things that maybe you can't get a coupon for...like college, lol. I am dealing with that right now. watch the threads for your stores and you will see how it is done. Also post in those threads if you have questions about it since not a ton of people check the blogs. and yes, you can stockpile with just one card! |

| | I agree with Jane above. I just started with this site a couple weeks ago and without much OOP, I already have stockpiled and made money off of toothpaste, shampoo, bodywash, BC potatoes, dish soap and others, and have started TP. I have already seen a difference in my shopping budget from just these few and I try to focus my shopping to start a stockpile of 1 thing each trip(with my savings from my already existing stockpiles.) I have gotten to the point of not needing to grocery for a month except for a little produce and milk. My problem now, LOL, is figuring out where to put it at home. I love the savings and the comfort of knowing I do not need to grocery right now and can apply that money to our NEW budget and debt payoff we are doing thanks to dave ramsey. I do not pay for the blog, just did the free preview to get ideas and am using those myself. THere are also several sites out there that are free. Between this wonderful site and the others out there, my family of four is learning how to survive in this crazy recession that they say we are not having. Good luck to you. |
