So here is how my NEW budget is going to look:

$40 per week (down from $60 in 2009) for our household consumables- groceries, hba, cleaning supplies and paper products for me, DH and 2 ds's (6yo and 3yo) 3 cats and one mini pin (dog, <15 lbs) I am also including costs for my newspapers, I typically buy 5-10 every week.

I also do surveys to earn Paypal credits, some occasional rebates and pay-to-click for gift cards. These funds are funnelled back into my budget.

Here's to my goal of $2010 in 2010!

Plus a $5 oyno from the Tombstone pizzas.

I got overage on a few things which covered the cost of others, plus I used several $2 Discover card coupons on the first few days of the sale, some loadable coupons, and lots of oyno cats too!

I spent less than my regular budget for the 2 weeks of the sale, and I have easily 6 months worth of food!

WOW-- I mean WOWWWWWWW!! That is so awesome! We don't have mega deals/Kroger stores like that here, tho we have a store that is in the Kroger 'family' and sells Kroger items. Go figure.

I am just in total and complete awe of your list above and the low, low, LOW price.

    Great job!!- WOWWW

There were insert coupons for $1 or $2 off any purchase when you use your Discover card, they expired 10/31/09.

We were lucky and got the $2 in our paper! I saved over $60 that month just with these!
