So here is how my NEW budget is going to look:
$40 per week (down from $60 in 2009) for our household consumables- groceries, hba, cleaning supplies and paper products for me, DH and 2 ds's (6yo and 3yo) 3 cats and one mini pin (dog, <15 lbs) I am also including costs for my newspapers, I typically buy 5-10 every week.
I also do surveys to earn Paypal credits, some occasional rebates and pay-to-click for gift cards. These funds are funnelled back into my budget.
Here's to my goal of $2010 in 2010!

I did better in July than June, so I'm hoping to repeat (or beat!) that success in August.
My goal again for August is $25/wk. 4 weeks, so $100 for the month.
Starting the month with:
$15 paypal funds transferred to my bank
CVS $34.46 gc, 10.99 ecb
Walgreens $11.02 gc
Albertsons $2 oyno cats
Kroger $10.18 gc
And today I got $30 Tom Thumb gc for a transferred RX. I've got one more that needs to be refilled soon, so I'm going to try to get another.
I've only got one lonely free Mars coupon that expires in August - but I've got plenty more freebies that expire much further out.
Wish me luck!

I don't yet tally up everything. However, my hubby and I have been living off our stockpile for about a month...with the exception of milk, bread, produce and meat. Well, have some stockpile of hot dogs! We're retirees and this is the first time we've had such a wonderful stockpile...thanks to HCW and others! Keep posting your methods; they do help.Posted 08-02-2009 at 12:53:32 PM by handm63

As everyone knows how moving is...... I have managed to live off my stockpile for July and plan to keep going in August. All the deposits cut back my grocery and stockpiling efforts, but now that we bought our house, I have room for even more stockpile. Hopefully in September I will be able to get back on the bandwagon and start a new stockpile again.
I just love it here at HCW. All the information I have collected has me rearing to get back in the swing of thing. Keep up the great workPosted 08-02-2009 at 05:59:04 PM by tiggerzzz
