So here is how my NEW budget is going to look:

$40 per week (down from $60 in 2009) for our household consumables- groceries, hba, cleaning supplies and paper products for me, DH and 2 ds's (6yo and 3yo) 3 cats and one mini pin (dog, <15 lbs) I am also including costs for my newspapers, I typically buy 5-10 every week.

I also do surveys to earn Paypal credits, some occasional rebates and pay-to-click for gift cards. These funds are funnelled back into my budget.

Here's to my goal of $2010 in 2010!

Due to some family issues, I did not do much shopping this week except to get food for a Mother's day extravaganza party on Sunday. My mom, 3 of my sisters and 1 of my brothers and his gf (there are 7 of us all together, but 2 didn't make it) 3 bil, 1 mil, and 5 grandkids (my mother's grandkids) all at my house for BBQ.

I made 1 trip to Walgreens, 1 to CVS and 2 to Tom Thumb.

OOP: $48.84

I got:
11lb brisket
15 lbs ground beef
2pks bacon
strawberries
6 pks capri sun
1.5 lbs tomatoes
1 bunch cilantro
parmesan cheese
2 loaves bread
5lbs potatoes
3 bags chips
2 jugs Clorox
2 boxes hefty trash bags
1 electrasol
1 jar Skippy peanut butter
12 vitaminwater10
4) 12pks sodas
1 pk gum

Savings: $164.60

A great shopping week for me!
