Yes, Albertsons accepts competitor's store coupons PLUS the cats ARE manf. coupons. They scan just like any other coupon. I ALWAYS use them there.

i believe there is a usda food program for centers like yours. you have to maintain a menu and track meals, etc. but they do cover the cost of food...

welcome to HCW debbun...it takes time but you will be saving in no time. Sign up for the coupon traders and you can trade for more coupons that you will be able to use.

Have you checked to see if your state will reimburse you for daycare food costs? I believe there is some kind of program for that. Maybe ask in the babies forum?
Post for help in one of the forums, where more people will see it. A LOT of people don't bother reading blogs.
Also, in your post, list the stores you have access to. Then go to those forums here, and match your coupons to the sales. Layout your shopping path/drive, to reduce your mileage, since gas is so expensive. Look/trade for rebate forms.

I have just recently found your Blog and I just love your attitude. (Don't you hate the fun haters that try to bring you down in your fun just because they can't do what you do or try to see wrong in something so great?) I just love your hobby. I would consider you a master at your hobby. I am also trying to master the cheap shopping hobby but it is a little more challenging in a small town. We have four grocery stores (United, Albertsons, a little Mom and Pop store and Walmart) to choose from and since there isn't much competition we don't get the double coupons offers. I would love for a Aldi or Von's or something to come here and stir up the competition. Your blog Jane 4 girls gave me two ideas for getting back more money. Caregivers Marketplace and the Polygrip Restaurant gift cards. Not that I have bought any Polygrip before but I now have a reason to. A very good site for you would be www.llnoe.com If you sign up you can post your budget. Then they will ask you for your bills. Be very transparent. Then many will give you some ideas. A lot of the time they will tell you to come here for ideas on saving money at the store.

you shouldnt be spending any money on daycare food, I would ask the parents to either provide you with the food you need (thats what I do) or ask them to reimburse you for whatever costs you have for food, cause it sounds like you are working to feed and care for other peoples children, what would your budget look like if you didnt care for them at all, just something to think about, it might not even be worth it.

Hi, there...welcome to HCW. Cutting those bills aren't easy, but there are so many ways to save money. Just keep clipping those coupons, match the sales from stores around you with the coupons, and read awesome threads here on HCW. If other people can do it, you can too!
